From Down the Willow Tree

From my new Romance book Down the Willow Tree:

This is a confession that may leave you questioning me and my decisions.  You may think terrible things about me, judge me, condemn me, and despise me.  In the end I can’t help what you may think, and perhaps as you hear the entire truth you may come to feel that there were so many unforgivable circumstances that perhaps I can be forgiven.

I covet your empathy as I reach for freedom from my guilt and redemption.

I wish I could be there to see how you react as you read my story.  I hope that you can find a way to understand even if you don’t agree.  Rejoice in my happiness and I beg that you overlook my indiscretions.

So the tale begins at the end, as all good stories should, on one of the most terrifying days of my life.
